The second discussion of Parenthrive Talkshow- Parenthood Exchange, on the vastly requested topic "Handling toddlers and Tornado" - Realities, Laughters and Lessons - took place via the ZOOM platform last Friday Night. (5th Jan 2024) This second step of the Talk show brought about a lively discussion on handling toddlers and the tantrums they often throw through the experience of two parents from our beautiful community. The conversation flowed between Hirosh Tharaka, a loving dad to his toddler Tevin Vindhula (4 years), and Najlaha Muzli, a loving mother to two sons, Mahamoud (6 years) and Malik (5 years old). Mr. Hirosh Tharaka currently works as the Engineering Lead at Sysco Lab, and Najla is the Operational Manager at New Ahli Travels and Tours.
Drawing from their experience as parents of toddlers, Hirosh and Najlaha shared their first-hand experience raising toddlers and dealing with common tantrums. The talk show was moderated by Yenuli Amaratunga, Community Catalyst from Parenthrive, who navigated the conversation through the highs and lows of parenting toddlers.
